Fundy Banjos is a small banjo workshop in Nova Scotia focused on open-back banjos for old-time and clawhammer music.

The instruments are shaped by years of playing, listening, and hands-on work, with close attention to tone, playability, and feel. Some follow established designs built in small batches; others are made one at a time, in conversation with the player.

This work grows out of a long relationship with the music and the communities around it, rather than an interest in producing instruments at scale.
